Billed as Scott’s lightest knee pads, the Soldier 2 Knee Guards provide the protection you need without any excess materials to trap heat or weigh you down. Abrasion-resistant fabric wraps around D30 padding, which boasts “intelligent molecules” that remain flexible for freedom of movement while you’re riding. When things do go south, those molecules lock upon impact to create a rigid surface that dissipates energy and provides a sturdy barrier against rocks, roots, and other trail debris. Stretchy, breathable mesh completes the package, with silicone printing at the edges for a secure, comfortable fit out on the trail.
